Introduction to the faculty of agriculture

Faculty of agriculture was established under two departments of agronomy, and agriculture economics and extension by the ministry of higher education in 2020. Simultaneously, the faculty started its academic activities and students were introduced to it through Kankor exam. Currently, total of 222 students including 212 male and 10 female are studying in grade 1, grade 2, grade 3 of the above mentioned departments. Academic and administrative affairs of the faculty is operated by nine lecturers, two administrative staffs, and two servicemen. Four of the academic members including dean of the faculty possess master degrees while six others possess bachelor degrees.

For the purpose of sustainable development of the country, faculty of agriculture aims to be a leading entity in providing creative, professional and market based human resources in the field of agriculture.

Mission of faculty of agriculture

Through applying teaching methods, practical learning, and researches, faculty of agriculture aims to provide society with market based professional human resources furnished with national and Islamic morals.
