Background of The Department of Islamic Studies
The Department of Islamic Education is a prestigious educational and scientific graduate unit within the framework of the Faculty of Sharia, which was approved in 1443 by Hijri Lunar and started operating in 1444. It provides professional cadres to the institutions of higher education, pilgrimage, Irshad, Dawa, and other institutions at the bachelor’s level. The Department of Islamic Education has six undergraduate academic staff members who teach the relevant curriculum to 65 students.
Vision
The Department of Islamic Studies will be an advanced department of Sharia science institutions, guidance and dawah, education and principles of religion at the country level, that will provide academic and professional cadres to higher education, education, Hajj and Awqaf, and Amr bil Maroof and Nahi anil Munkar organizations.
Mission
The Department of Islamic Education, in the light of the prescribed curriculum, teaches the students with the aid of the experts and experienced academic cadre members at the undergraduate level and tries to present the academic cadres to the society in the fields of faith, Tafsir, Hadith, Irshad and Dawah. And to conduct new researches in principles of religion.
